Emma Løkke studied at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Professor Thomas Scheibitz and participated in NRW: exchange – Dein UK-Stipendium, DAAD, London (2024). Her work explores contemporary narratives and abstraction, balancing structure with spontaneity.
Løkke’s solo and duo exhibitions include Flint – Graduation Show, Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf (upcoming, 2025); Pockets, B10, Düsseldorf (2023); Sarah Doolan und Emma Løkke, Düsseldorf (2023); and Coherent Stories, Baustelle Schaustelle, Düsseldorf (2021).
Her work has been featured in group exhibitions including JOSEFF__ROT HAT EIN BOOT, Jvdw, Düsseldorf (2024); The Significant Other, Schwarz Contemporary, Berlin (2022); and Ganz Zerbrochen, Augustiner Museum, Rattenberg (2022).
She was awarded the Junge Positionen NRW (2020) and completed a residency at PRAKSIS and Fellesverkstedet, Oslo, Norway (2018).
