Vincenzo Crea

Vincenzo Crea, is a multidisciplinary artist. He began his career as an actor and has since worked across various films and TV series, collaborating with renowned directors such as Abel Ferrara, Francesco Bruni, Marco Bellocchio, Leonardo Guerra Seragnoli, and Andrea De Sica. In 2017, Crea won the Guglielmo Biraghi Award at the Nastri d'Argento for his performance. In 2024, he presented the play Addormentate at the Venice Biennale Theatre, directed by Fabrizio Arcuri.
Recently, Crea has expanded his practice to include photography and painting, delving into themes of death, sleep, dreams, and memory. His artwork often draws from recurring images, autobiographical experiences, and cinematic and literary influences, exploring the intersection of the unconscious and the visual world. He frequently reflects on his familiar surroundings and family, weaving these elements into his artistic expression.
