Andrea Mauti

Andrea Mauti's research is developed through processes of hybridization and sublimation of organic and inorganic matter. These transformative acts that are implemented on objects are born from a post-apocalyptic and archaeological vision of the surrounding reality and the non- anthropocentric entities that inhabit it.

Graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 2022, following an exchange program carried out at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München, and he studied in the class of Karin Kneffel.

In 2023 he was selected for the New Grand Tour 2023 residency project, at the Cité International des Arts in Paris, presenting the project When the World Was at War We just kept Dancing.
